I do believe Thomas Marlowe spoke w/Danny Thomas in Newark; Danny Thomas, as well as Jackie Gleason and many others, played the clubs in Newark BEFORE their rise to fame. Whether the story is true, or they just swapped pleasantries, that remains left to the imagination…
